International Captain
Orton turns the heel aptly on Bray. Maybe start of a feud that goes beyond WM? With Sister Abigail being introduced at some point after WM.

I'm very glad that Orton didn't end up the face in all this.

Edit: Nevermind. This is somehow going to be Orton as face. fmd

Bray and Harper vs Randy and Kane 4 Wrestlemania

minor njpw show tonight, wasn't able to watch the honor rising shows due to bad internet, but I did catch up and watch the Young Bucks main event on night 2 which was of course amazing. I also don't get War Machine, but it's been awhile since I've watched them.

I reckon we can go full WMXX throwback from here (with actually good Women's matches, though):

1. Dean Ambrose vs. Baron Corbin -- Intercontinental Championship
2. Gallows & Anderson vs. The New Day vs. Cesaro & Sheamus vs. Enzo & Cass -- RAW Tag Team Championship
3. John Cena (w/ Nikki Bella) vs. The Miz (w/ Maryse)
4. Samoa Joe & Triple H & Finn Balor vs. Sami Zayn & Seth Rollins
5. Becky Lynch vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Mickie James -- SDL Women's Championship
6. Neville vs. Jack Gallagher vs. Tony Nese vs. TJ Perkins vs. Gran Metallik vs. Lince Dorado vs. Rich Swann vs. Noam Dar vs. Cedric Alexander vs. Ultimo DragonAUSTIN ARIES -- Cruiserweight Championship
7. Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman
8. American Alpha vs. The Usos vs. Heath Slater & Rhyno vs. The Ascension -- SDL Tag Team Championship
9. Bayley vs. Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax -- RAW Women's Championship
10. Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho -- Universal Championship
11. Undertaker vs. AJ Styles
12. Bray Wyatt vs. Luke Harper vs. Randy Orton -- World Championship

13. Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg

Fatal 4-Ways for both tag titles, a midcard hoss fight nobody gives a **** about, a triple threat for the title, two gun wrestlers getting 20 minutes for the other title, C-c-c-c-RUISERWEIGHT OPEN, a 3-on-2 handicap match etc etc. Then tack 2017 Brock/Goldberg on.

Joking aside, I'd probably look at making Triple H vs. Rollins into a tag match; keep the feud simmering for a SummerSlam blow-off or something given Rollins' knee is gone. Joe and Zayn can do a lot of the heavy lifting.

The Randy stuff is just a work. Bray needs that sweet insurance money so they're pretending to feud.

Whatever it takes!!!
This Bray-Orton feud is weird as **** but entertaining.
Yeah, he hit it out of the park. Looking forward to this feud now. Stellar stuff.

The promo and performances were solid but come on, the feud sucks balls. Why in the blue hell am I supposed to care about any of these people? When Shield split up, it was just as contrived as this ****, but at least they made you care, or more specifically, Ambrose made you care. And to an extent, Triple H did too.

If the plan was always to have Bray Vs Orton in a personal feud, why have them feud last year for really no reason? Why have Orton join them, again for no real reason? And why keep teasing Wyatt family break up without showing any real evidence that either Orton or Wyatt were really such good friends?

Maybe they wanted to go the other way and really play up Orton as this master string pulling Viper persona who has been destroying the Wyatt family from within. Again, this stable was never big enough to feel that way. They could have had 3 or 4 guys apart from Wyatt and Orton and then let everything happen the way it did and slowly have Orton get Wyatt to throw away one after the other from the stable. THAT would have sold Orton and his silent poisoning Viper gimmick better. Right now, it is excellent performances by two very solid wrestlers and performers being wasted on the most meh story possible for a WM main event. This is why I hate current WWE so much. So much potential and talent, complete market dominance and this is what they give us. :(

DWTA

Feud and everything hasn't been perfect but Wyatt's last few years and Ortons loss to lesnar aren't at the forefront of our minds. Job done.

Lol.. all I can tell you is I was brought up on mostly excellently built up main event feuds for WM, esp. title matches. Either there is a story of a rising star or an excellent feud. This is neither. Sure, you forgot the crap these two have been through but that was gonna happen regardless when they are in a WM main event for the WWE championship. I just expect better quality I guess. And I have good reason to, seeing as I felt absolutely no emotion when Orton turned on Wyatt. I could see them wanting us (or me as a viewer) to think it is some big deal but it just felt meh.

I'll never quite understand how NJPW actually makes me like Juice,
The wrestling observer awards came out yesterday and Juice Robinson was voted third most improved, behind two guys who shouldn't've gotten votes (Miz and Matt Riddle), so he's basically considered the most improved wrestler in the past 12 months

FWIW, they are doing an excellent job of making me care for the Cena-Miz feud which has "throwaway" written all over it. I guess no build up is better than bad build up when it comes to such feuds, as these two sold this just based on that segment and their respective promos. Maybe I would have felt the same on Orton-Wyatt if they had lesser backstory and it was just a straight up RR winner challenging current WWE Champ and then they had this week's SD promo. I think I might have cared more.

Orton hitting his pose after burning down the shack will forever be one of my favourite wrestling moments.

that cruiserweight match was good and it also felt like something totally different to the rest of the show which is what they've needed
