The Breeze/R-Truth/Goldust/Fandango segments are by far the worst thing on WWE TV right now. Absolutely dire. Worse than that terrible Summer Rae/Rusev thing last year.

RAW was decent though. Pretty excited for an AJ-Roman rematch, just hope we get some Finn shenanigans with Bullet Club turning on AJ at some point soon. Also, less Usos please.

Ryback has been removed from all WWE programming indefinitely due to a contract despute.
I see it as four jobbers getting a leg up and being given some time on air for a bit of light relief, so maybe I'm not taking it seriously enough. The other angle was meant to be a serious feud, with talented guys and ended up making me hate all four of them involved by virtue of how cringe it was. Far worse imo.

Good RAW though, I'm very interested in the Samoans vs Bullet feud and think the whole Steph vs Shane angle could prove to be good.e

edit: ANd having watched the Payback ME just now, phenomenal doesn't begin to describe how good AJ is. Mindblowing.

Nah, they really aren't. They're not good, I'll give you that (though at least the whole thing gets Breeze on TV), but the whole Lana/Ziggler/Rusev thing was real wrestlecrap. Just dreadful.

It reached so bad it's good levels though.

I'm not sure it did actually. It was probably on the cusp of it, but I don't think it ever crossed the threshold for me. It was just flat out bad, and everyone came out of the whole thing looking like crap.

Tbf there were some funny moments though. "Dog Ziggler" being one notable one.

I think Rusev and Summer both did well in the angle. Ziggler and Lana were the pits.
Tbf Summer was great at the time, for some of it, definitely the best part of the whole thing. But she's just gone back to obscurity since. Totally forgotten about.

I can see him being released. Just doesn't seem like a guy suited to this sort of an environment of the wrestling business. Reminds me a bit of Lex Luger in that regard.

Yeah, because Lex Luger never accomplished anything in pro wrestling

No, that's unrelated.
Wtf. How is it? You said Ryback wasn't suited to this environment of pro-wrestling, like Lex Luger. But yet, for a period, Lex Luger was really popular and a big name. It's an analogy that doesn't make any sense.

Lex Luger had a terrific potential to be a top name in the business, but just didn't have the feel for it, so he wasn't able to capitalise as much as he could have. Same could be said about Ryback. Both had terrific bodies but lacked the feel for the wrestling business in their own ways.

I'll never hear a bad word about Luger.

The one wrestler I irrationally loved in the 90s. WAG.
