Out of curiosity, why?
Apparently he was arguing with Vince constantly because Triple H felt the fans' reaction had naturally built Shane-Taker to be the 'main event'.

Probably didn't fancy another fiasco like his Jericho main event.

Seems like the E are actually teasing positioning AJ as a heel in his feud with Roman. Massive lel if it doesn't turn out to be a swerve.

Personally hoping we get Balor debuting at Payback after they lay out both AJ and Roman. Anderson and Gallows giving the DQ win to Roman by attacking him after they've had a solid 15-20 minutes of back and forth action between Roman and AJ. Then they lay out AJ as well. Then they grab a mic and introduce their leader. Finn's music, full Finn entrance in the leather jacket with the NXT belt. After the entrance (I mean it's like what 3 minutes long?) Roman rises, hit him with the Bloody Sunday/1916 and pick up the WWE championship.

HHH comes out and stands on the ramp and smiles.

Think it'd be a great way to set up the End of the Authority story, lots of fun angles you can create in it, Bullet Club vs. AJ, Bullet Club vs. the Shield, Rollins vs. HHH. I'd pretty much go insane if they go anywhere near that sort of angle.

Baron Corbin has got one badass entrance.Just love it.

I wouldnt be surprised if he's in the WWE title picture by the end of the year.I do like the way they are building him up.

Get an eerie feeling Bullet club's attack on Reigns is heading towards the direction of Super Reigns.(he even mentioned one vs all in his promo lol ).And it would be typical wwe booking either way. That instance alone makes me think he wont turn heel in the near future.
Would be stupid to turn AJ heel in the process though.I'm not sure how they are going to handle this.

Have to say post-Wrestlemania RAW's this yr have been outstanding compared to the usual standards.Way better than anything we've had over the past 6 months or so.
I am also liking the fact that side feuds of Payback PPV (Ambrose-Jericho/Owens-Zayn) is getting to finish the show giving it more relevance in the process.
From a wrestling pov, this is the best collection of talent they've had in yrs probably including the women's division and the injured stars ofc.But on a storyline/mic level, there's still a lot left to be desired.Seems like there's an overload of tag team and other filler matches atm and we need to have far more talking and backstage segments. At the very least you can have more talking time in your top feuds.
A 2 hr RAW would be ideal in this regard but they obviously wont go back to it now.

More talking? One of the worst things about RAW last year was that there was more talking. Just endless droning promos. Less is more.

More talking as in part of building up a feud ,especially a main-event feud like AJ-Roman for example.I'm surprised AJ isnt talking much as he used to in TNA.That promo with Roman this RAW could've been so much better.

I'll maybe put some more thoughts down on this when I have the time, but I think the greatest failure of Raw is that the talking segments are so bad. They can't really rely on great in-ring wrestling moments occurring consistently on Raw because, you know, those moments should probably take place on the PPVs, so you need good talking segments to create those moments, and they are so so so bad at talking right now.

anyway Chyna's dead

Sad indeed, she had some serious issues and clearly wasn't getting the help she needed. Rip Joannie.

RIP Joanie. Really sad news. She's had her issues but was so young. Mick Foley shared a touching tribute on his FB feed this morning:

GOODBYE JOANIE
My heart is aching. My eyes are swollen from crying, having just talked to Joan Laurer's manager Anthony Anzaldo on the phone and been told that Chyna, the 9th Wonder of the World was no longer with us; gone at only 45.
I will always be grateful for the friendship I shared with her, but particularly so for the kindness she showed my children, especially Noelle when she was younger - taking her by the hand at WWE events in the late 90's - off to have her makeup done, her fingernails painted; bonding time between big, strong Joanie, and her tiny sidekick. A father doesn't forget that type of kindness.
I didn't know whether to post a classic photo of Chyna in her WWE prime or of Joanie from the last time I saw her - about 10 months ago at a convention on Long Island. I went with the photo from the convention because of the emotion; because it was taken at the exact moment I saw her for the first time in many years. I was told later that Joanie wasn't sure how I would react to her, and that it meant a great deal to be accepted. Like I said, a father doesn't forget. I called home on my way back from the convention – only about 40 minutes from my house. "I'm bringing a friend over to watch the pay-per-view" I said to my wife.
"Who's that?", my wife asked.
"Chyna"
"Chyna?"
"Yeah, Chyna!"
And that was pretty much that. A mother, you see, doesn't forget the kindness shown to her child, either.
I am so glad we had that night with Joanie. A night to let her know how much we cared about her, whether it was politically correct or not. A night to let her know we loved her -and always will. RIP my dear friend. I pray that somehow in death, you can find the peace that eluded you so frequently during the latter years of your remarkable life.
Please feel free to share your favorite Chyna memory.
