I don't think he was using that as a stick to beat the Rollins booking with tbh. He just said it was dumb because it was clear who was going to win, and that makes for a crap spectacle.

He does have a point though.The fact that they've needed to effectively portray the US title as superior to the WWE title because of the fact that Cena is still the top guy is extremely dumb.

Okay, that makes more sense. However house shows really should end with the kids going home happy. So the best bet would be changing the booking or whatever. Have Cena and Seth on different shows or something (which they did earlier this year). Just the nature of the beast though isn't it?

He brought up the house show point while making his point that Rollins has been booked like a "chump" and not a "champ" so he saw it as part of the issue, not just the predictability of the house show but because Cena was positioned as the man in the company and Rollins plays second fiddle.

Particularly said that the champion shouldn't be booked to lose 95% of his matches, including the losses to Cena at house shows when he mentions it.

Says he now calls him the WWE Chumpion

I remember going to a house show where Jericho was the champ and he beat The Rock, but they ended the show on a good note by having Rock just verbally dominate Jericho on the mic afterwards. God he was the best.

Yeah I think that's the main reason gimh needs to drop the flair comparisons. Champions/top guys like Rock/Flair lost quite often too (Jericho beat Rock with his own finisher ffs. I don't think any other huge star has allowed that to happen) but were able to remain over as hell because of their insanely good verbal skills. Rollins is a phenomenal wrestler but right now he's not a dynamite on the mic or anything who can overcome being booked weakly.
