Anderson bowling with very good pace these days, he's a proper fast medium now. He's put on about 5kmh from last season.

Yeah, although he's matured brilliantly with the bat (particularly from a mental perspective), I've got no doubt his eye isn't as sharp as it once was which is strange for a guy who's just touched the age of 30. His deteriorate as a T20 batsman is evidence of this.

Not sure if Taylor was ever that good as a T20 batsman though. Since bowlers learned that all they needed to do was bowl wide of off-stump to completely neutralise his main scoring option, he's never been that effective.

We could debate that point, but even in the 50 over game in which he's improved as a run-scorer, he just doesn't seem to be able to put his foot down to the metal at the death as he once could & I don't think that's entirely down to bowling tactics.

Disappointed that KW hasn't had a go at the bowling crease yet. Maybe he's not sure about his bowling yet, but he can't possibly bowl any worse than Devcich.

I think Taylor's eye is fine both for batting and catching. Worthwhile remembering that he didn't put down a single chance during the home summer last season, and he's generally been very good this winter as well.

Taylor's still a fine slipper, no doubt. When I say his eye may have deteriorated, I'm talking about a microscopic amount, but enough to impact his ability to clear the ropes as regularly as he used to.

A bit, but also very hard to get him away for more than a single out to the guy in the deep when he does it; think it's a bit deliberate at times.

Even with his field, two guys behind point and the guy out on the fence being on point, indicates he's trying to protect himself there and feed that area.
