It is, to be fair, mindbogglingly flat.Dear oh dear. This is looking completely ****ed
Looking forward to when we are 4/80 With maxwell and marsh at the creaseIt is, to be fair, mindbogglingly flat.
There have been, like, four balls that have done anything remotely interesting all day off the deck.havent seen a great deal but a siddle off cutter which moved six inches doesnt bode well for us imo
It was his debut Test FFS.Eh, no.
He bowled consistently on leg stump for no apparent reason - like, I lost count of the number of times Clarke would give him two short covers and then he'd spend half the over on leg, and it was infuriating. He wasn't really that accurate. He failed to consistently put the batsman under pressure with sequences of deliveries or beat them in flight. His length was consistently poor. Lyon at least had several very close umpiring decisions go against him and a dropped catch, managing occasionally to beat the batsman in the air or off the pitch.
This post is actually kind of baffling because you haven't actually made a case for why SOK should have been kept other than his bowling figures, which were atrocious. So were Lyon's, of course, but at least he's actually looked a Test standard bowler in his career.
Inconsistent movement is possibly worse too deal with than a minefield around as it makes the batsman uncertain or overconfident. There have been, like, four balls that have done anything remotely interesting all day off the deck.
We'll probably fold in a heap missing straight balls again, but this is one of the roadier roads you'll ever see.
Yeah, until this session I don't think you could blame the bowlers too much here. A few chances went begging hurts too. There have been, like, four balls that have done anything remotely interesting all day off the deck.

If you're getting uncertain about one dodgy ball every hour, though...Inconsistent movement is possibly worse too deal with than a minefield around as it makes the batsman uncertain or overconfident.
yeah this.this will go down the same path as the last test, we'll head in tomorrow night looking alright and then day 3 it'll start turning and we'll be ****ed
