Hats off to Pakistan, good consistent cricket for 3 days in a row and they have clawed their way into a great position. Just too many loose shots from our blokes, the job ain't done once you get to 30 you know men!

@Greatest_Game, I can't see anything apart from a Pakistan win from here. Australia just doesn't do batting for the draw.

@xtrafalgarx, I don't know why you suddenly have problems with Rogers? 3 tons from his last 5 games and he batted longer than anyone here apart from Warner, no other Aussie opener playing FC cricket has anything near a comparable record. Only Hughes could be said to be staking a claim but he has far more question marks over him than does Rogers.

Jono has been posting on cricinfo regularly as well?

They should aim for a 450 target imo. Bat another 40-45 overs and they'll get there. I think Pakistan have pretty much won this now. Even with a Pakistan lollapse, they'll get to atleast 350 and will have plenty of time to bowl out Australia.

If Pakistan are to confirm victory they'd probably need to improve the strike rate. As it stands to get a match-winning target they may have to bat too long.

Still they're big favourites. It's hard to know how we'll deal with not being able to win if they bat for long enough to confirm victory. Arguably a collapse could be a good thing for Pakistan.

Stand by for the commentators, especially the Fox Sports guys, to lay into Pakistan for batting beyond 400+ lead....even though Aus have been such conservative declarationists over the last decade

I like listening to Dean Jones complaining about the same thing twice. It's just so much more pleasant than insightful commentary.
