England were going at under 2 for the longest time and now it's over 3! Pakistan gonna Pakistan!

Bess and Buttler have played very well and the swing has pretty much disappeared except for random deliveries here and there. Couple that with the fact that we don't have a proper spinner, and this is the result you get. It's the ebb and flow of cricket, hardly "Pakistan being Pakistan" as much as I love saying that myself.

Pakistan will probably clean them up within 30 minutes in the first session. Good resistance from these two though.

Winning a Test overseas is not supposed to be easy and they were bound to be made to sweat a bit at some stage.

England don't want to be facing Amir and co in overcast conditions as per forecast tomorrow with their tail so exposed, not even for half a session. Entire Day 4 getting washed out is their only chance

I think lack of a proper test spinner is hurting us here.As much as I like Shadab I always believed in the long run he will go Steve Smith way middle order batsman and an occasional bowler.
I hope Amir can take the responsibility and get the breakthroughs with the new ball barring him it’s still a very rookie attack.Whatever the result and Iam not discounting a typical 4th innings Pakistani muck up I have liked what I have seen from this side especially the bowling lineup has a lot of upside potential.Babar Azam injury was a shame I though this was turning out to be his breakthrough test innings anyways his injury allows us to see some more batting depth next game overall pretty exciting time in Pakistan cricket hopefully we can close out the game tomorrow.

While I don't doubt that Shadab has genuine batting ability, I think it is awfully unfair to compare his bowling to Steve Smith. Steve Smith was a batsman picked for his bowling due to selector desperation of finding the next SK Warne. Shadab has 50 FC wickets taken in just 10 games at less than 25. That is the stuff of a genuine bowler, who in the case of Shadab, brings useful batting into a nice allrounder package.
