there was some support for spinners as usual windies was clueless against the spin trio the pace bowling from both sides was dire, Pakistan was the much better batting side.

They desperately need Sarwan and Chanderpaul for the remaining games. The two best players of spin in the West Indies; the batsmen in the current team play as if they have never faced spin bowling in their lives.

I guess there must be decent players of spin in the West Indies or the likes of Bishoo and Benn would be having an unprecedented amount of fun in their domestic circuit. Just that none of them are in this current WI XI.

Started off with a very good first over and then completely lost his length. Bowled lots of balls that were either too short or overpitched.

Roach has the same problem as Wahab - consistency.Only an insong Wahab is more lethal than Roach perhaps,but they are both too hot and cold.

Totally.Very handy bowler,a very VERY good batsman (Don't go on the averages,he's a much better batsman than that),and a top drawer fielder.Seems to be a very calm and composed character too.If Afridi steps down from the captaincy before 2015,i would back Hafeez to lead the side.

Not really. I can't see him as captaincy material at all. Seems like a Shoaib Malik type character to me.

Wahab Riaz is gun. I think that lad will go far in international cricket. The boy has the talent and one of the best yorkers in the game.

The annoying thing with Mohammad Hafeez is that he never really kicks on. Almost invariably plays a stupid shot after getting to thirty-forty.

I meant a shoaib malik type of player. Nothing sensational about him.

it will take just one poor run of form for Hafeez to be send back to the domestics.There is no future captain in the current lot though Fawad Alam had a good season as a captain with National Bank so if he secures his place he might be the one.

Hafeez is a greater player than Shoaib.

Malik never managed to put in good performances for the team on such a regular basis.Hafeez has been one of our most dependable bowlers in the last few months,and a regular decent start giving opener.
