Be a shame if he was now pigeonholed as an opener but unless he wants to bat at six, it is probably the best place for him.

comes across a guy who knows his game well and has a strong determined head on his shoulders. He will be bit of a bunny to some top class out swing bowler sometime in his career and may also have some long slumps in form due to his technique but overall I believe he will in it for the long course.

First bowled out for 90 then cruise to 280 odd/2 only to crash and burn their last 9 wickets for 35.
Feel for Pakistan supporters.

Ha. Every time I check the score in this test the game has changed beyond recognition. This has actually been quite an interesting test series and I regret not watching more of it. Some solid performances by newcomers like Herath, Paranavitana ,Fawad and Ajmal.

And just as I write this Ajmal takes a wicket. Is there going to be another turnaround?
