Credit should also go to Prasad who took 2 early wickets in a decisive burst and Welegedara who kept the pressure on at the other end while Herath weaved his magic, one more wicket tonight and there is surely no way back for Pakistan.

This has been an excellent pitch too, should re-lay it every summer

No worries, with Ajmal playing against NZ and Aus in the UAE in the coming months, he has a chance to improve his figures. And then the stats brigade can call him better

lol. he'll get destroyed unless nz wheel out green tops. that other overhyped no hoper tharanga even more so.

sri lanka will need eranga to have a good series or more prasad random genius to win. herath is up against it being a finger spinner but he has more chance than most and will need to keep the pressure on. this nz side eat orthodox finger spin for breakfast in their own **** spinners conditions.
