Haha yeah, happy to be proved wrong for this game but I personally think we'd still be better off with Seifert.Things that aged extremely fast
It's a real shame for the likes of O'Rourke they weren't able to agree to a one-off test. Mariu probably would have got a test debut too with Latham and Conway unavailable. Why dont nz play tests vs pak instead of lois
A 3 test series would lose millions especially if NZ had a B team playing and it was on during Super Rugby (NZ market) and IPL (foreign market).are people seriously telling me this limited overs series is "making more money" than a 3-test series would have?
In the first odi you should have seen on PakPassion cricket site the amount of abuse Babar Azam was getting for his knock , which I struggled to understand because in my opinion he was one of their best players that day and paced his innings brilliantly.Genuinely think peoples brains have turned to mush about slow starts to ODI innings in the early/mid overs. There is so much time for batsman to still finish with a very high strike rate when they're set and not everyone plays from the same starting gear.
The Pakpassion tuktuk knock whinging has been so consistent for years that it's the primary reason I tend to be such a staunch Babar defender. In the first odi you should have seen on PakPassion cricket site the amount of abuse Babar Azam was getting for his knock , which I struggled to understand because in my opinion he was one of their best players that day and paced his innings brilliantly.
Ha yeah if a team hasn't scored 50 by the 5th over it's basically "this game is already over!!!11one"Genuinely think peoples brains have turned to mush about slow starts to ODI innings in the early/mid overs. If the Champions Trophy wasn't when it was I imagine there would've been a Pakistan test tour of NZ.are people seriously telling me this limited overs series is "making more money" than a 3-test series would have?
NZ seems happy to field "2nd string" sides to play white ball series that clash with the IPL, but refuses to do the same with Tests. I think I remember reading about last year, CSA suggested that our Test series against them be moved to April, with both teams losing players to the IPL. NZC point blank refused, & laughed at their suggestion to host that series midyear in South Africa. Why dont nz play tests vs pak instead of lois
Shows they are smart.NZ seems happy to field "2nd string" sides to play white ball series that clash with the IPL, but refuses to do the same with Tests. There's no time to catch up in T20s though and that's where the anchor approach is criticized. The Pakpassion tuktuk knock whinging has been so consistent for years that it's the primary reason I tend to be such a staunch Babar defender.
There is almost no odis and tests for the rest of the year with all teams playing only t20s due to the t20 world cup. Will Rizwan and Babar not play for Pak for the rest of the year in that case? That's almost unbelievable. There's no time to catch up in T20s though and that's where the anchor approach is criticized.
There is still time. Far less. Genuinely the pure throw your wicket away acceleration is usually in the final 4-5 overs and the rest can vary between 4-8 runs an over to get a platform for that. There's no time to catch up in T20s though and that's where the anchor approach is criticized.
This is what quick fixes do to people's brains.Genuinely think peoples brains have turned to mush about slow starts to ODI innings in the early/mid overs.
