What tours do New Zealand have coming up this year?
Return tour to Pakistan and that's about it. Rest are home. Looks like cricket has returned to Pakistan and if covid doesn't cause issues a tour to Pakistan is on cards.

We are no.1 rated test team but why do we only get 2 test matches? Shouldn't we be invited overseas often and given 3 or 4 test matches.

David White hates Test cricket.

Plus also I think it takes a while to knock perceptions on their head about team strength. Getting blasted 3-0 in your last away series wouldn't help either.

Didn't know Fleming now in the commie set up. With Baz and Fleming in the commentary box hope most discussion is not ending up being about IPl... Don't want to hear about IPL during at test match.

Never a better time to ask for 3 test matches at least for the next year or so. 2 test match series are a lottery overseas. By the time you get used to the conditions the first test match is over. Even if you play a very good test match second time around you won't win the series. Everything to lose than gain.

yep agreed. wish White and co would realise that touring Australia is the holy grail for tests for us. give us a month over there with decent warm up games before the first test!

the big problem is NZ brings a miniscule tv audience from an awkward timezone. It’s gotten to the point where only the big 3 and Pakistan can afford to host us. WI and SL in particular don’t want a bar of us because of how much money they lose.

good session, evenly balanced. This next session is crucial: one of KW or Ross needs runs, NZ need to give the bowlers some rest time and score at least 250 to keep themselves in the game.

Meh. I'm sick of watching NZ get whipped in Aus and having to listen to Aussie coms/media.
I'd much rather watch a long test series in England or India, IMO.

Not Terrible
The thing I still love and respect in Taylor is as poorly out of form as he may seem, he still finds a way to grind through. It's a bit like late career Tendulkar. The big hundreds might be gone but he's transformed himself into a different player to still contribute to the team

Scored one 50 in the 6 tests he played in 2020.

at 36 years of age, is it time for him to focus purely on the shorter formats of the game?

and give young/conway a chance to cement themselves in the 4 position?

That would be great, I'd still love to see Jamieson in Australian conditions.
