156/4 with two new batsmen in and a sick one in next.

India have regained control but it just takes one partnership to take it away. This is a great contest between two very good Test teams.

It is a shame that the pitch is so slow that the quality of RFM and RF pacers (Khan, Akhtar, Patel, Sami) on show do not get much of a chance to show their pace and venom.

I'm assuming that Kamran Akmal is batting at #6 because Misbah isn't feeling well? How serious is Misbah's illness?

Haha, overrating India, Pakistan and the seamers on both sides just a bit there?

Argh, Malik gone.

I'd be happy if India ran through the rest of the batsmen now, I think Zaheer could mop up the tail.

Nah, you have to be positive. Shoaib Akhtar is one of the world's quickest, Zaheer Khan is in the top ten in the ICC World Rankings and the other two can extract a lot from quick pitches.

As for the quality of the teams, just looking at the batting and the aforementioned bowling (as well as the quality of spin), both teams are very strong.

Nah India are pretty strong, Pakistan have a lot of issues though.

This post will look stupid if Pakistan win of course, and they are missing Asif and Gul. But this current XI isn't a 'strong' test team.
