No I meant 10 each.
Laker and Lock got twenty between them 50 years ago, but it was a somewhat uneven share

I sat down, KP went out, and I was gutted, but I thought it was a cracking day. Cook may not have you on the edge of your seat, but he so elegant.Scaly piscine said:I bet whoever it was who had tickets today was gutted when KP got out early... dour stuff since.
Academic on Thursday afternoon.grecian said:Academic now anyway

His forename wouldn't be the same as your's would it?Langeveldt said:I heard a certain forum member say Steve Harmison was poo, can this be confirmed?
Scaly piscine said:Monty had conditions in his favour, KP, Kaneria, Afridi and every England main seamer took wickets at a faster rate.
If Monty can't perform when the conditions are the most in his favour he'll likely see for a year then how can we expect him to be of any use the rest of the time? Unlike lots of others I don't see the point in having a specialist 'give the seamers a rest whilst being milked with complete ease' bowler.
dont forget England got 460 odd on this so called bowler friendly pitch..was is nice to see is a pitch with bounce and a bit of pace, which can work for both batsman and bowlerUncleTheOne said:Credit to the groundsman, don't see many bowler friendly wickets now so it's always nice when you get one.
That's what you get from him sadly.TT Boy said:Before people start re-masturbating over Steve Harmison lets hope he can follow this up and not let it be his only good bowling performance in a test match for the next twelve months. Because in all honesty Andy Caddick would have got a fifer on this wicket.
Good victory though. Any one have a clue what to expect for the Headingley wicket.
well maybe in the second inningsTT Boy said:Because in all honesty Andy Caddick would have got a fifer on this wicket.
You make it sound like Caddick coulnt bowl. On his day he made the hairs on the back of my next stand up. Caddick is a very underrated player. He just had a soft mind that didnt fit into the England setup at the time.TT Boy said:Before people start re-masturbating over Steve Harmison lets hope he can follow this up and not let it be his only good bowling performance in a test match for the next twelve months. Was surprising to see a pitch do so much at Old Trafford, but still most of the wickets Panesar got were from a bad shot or a fluke, you could understand bad shots against GBH because he shook up the batsmen. Anyway every dog has its day, even Giles takes five-fers occasionally.grecian said:Just think this should be quoted, theres lots of other similar comments, but I can't be bothered to look for them
That year was short.
