What is the kid who bowled those massive inswingers in the U19 WC doing now? Is he close to getting a call-up?Beleg said:Is this the worst Pakistani attack fielded during the last 30 years?
Any comments on the Monty 3-fer, SP?Scaly piscine said:That's it Taufel, sort it out after Strauss has lost his wicket.

You know, Michael Vaughan, England's inspirational captain, the one we can't win the Ashes without sadly. Although Cooky looks better and better, just isn't ruffled by anything.Hugh said:Cook keeps impressing. Vaughan who ?
Don't be silly, only Mcgrath can out do Freddie when he's at his best.GeraintIsMyHero said:To be fair, on form I wouldn't drop Harmison for many bowlers at all. Even Flintoff, as a bowler.
I was reminded by the Cricinfo.com article that this very similar bowling line up (http://uk.cricinfo.com/db/ARCHIVE/2004-05/PAK_IN_IND/SCORECARDS/PAK_IND_T3_24-28MAR2005.html) was not very impressive on paper. Still did another to beat the Indians mind.Beleg said:Is this the worst Pakistani attack fielded during the last 30 years?
Yes. Cook looks good and is almost due a big one.GeraintIsMyHero said:LOL
Question, will I see any centuries tomorrow?
Jamshed Ahmed was the left armer, who bowled inswingers. But there was a right armer, Anwar Ali, who bowled the massive inswingers. I'd doubt he can keep his body in one piece before he plays Test cricket. Wait till you see him, Goughy, you'll have plenty of work to do in your bowling coaching thread .Beleg said:Plunette.
The kid's name is Jamshed something (Ahmed?) and I think he is still a couple of years away from the team, though at this rate and knowing the Pakistani selectors, he might get called up for the fourth test.
Shoaib and Rana injured?Xuhaib said:I have a feeling Jamshed Ahmed will be opening the bowling attack with Asif during the World Cup.
Is Shoaib ever fit?adharcric said:Shoaib and Rana injured?
I still to this day don't know how that happened. Fair play to Pakistan for winning with that line-up though I guess.TT Boy said:I was reminded by the Cricinfo.com article that this very similar bowling line up (http://uk.cricinfo.com/db/ARCHIVE/2004-05/PAK_IN_IND/SCORECARDS/PAK_IND_T3_24-28MAR2005.html) was not very impressive on paper.
