He's basically looked as though the last 3 matches never happened. Amazing how it can just click back into place, which was immediately apparent too.

Pakistan's inability to drive home the advantage and really grind down the opposition the way they do in UAE will cost them this series. Twice.

And you had written him off. I had written off both YK and Misbah in 2010 and in the last 6 years, have grown to understand these two men and never to write them off ever again. They will know when the time is right to leave.

Was thinking it's weird they can do it in the UAE and not here, but apart from Younis no one really specialises in getting massive scores. They get big totals more by everyone contributing which I guess is harder in foreign conditions.

Correct. And YK now showing up for the most part really hurt them. But you know who else gets really big daddy hundreds in UAE? Hafeez :p

And this is why Hafeez and YK not performing has dented Pakistan so badly despite the other 3 getting hundreds.

Great day for the series. Pakistan to get an 80 odd run lead and then England will have to bat well to set Pakistan 220'ish to chase on the final day.

To be fair Hafeez normally gets done in UAE and sets a really nice platform the middle order.

I think Pakistan will want 120-150 lead ideally, at least with no Rahat the tail is somewhat less rubbish.

Interesting first session tomorrow etc

England with only a slight edge IMO. While I fully expect Pakistan to get bowled out for another 50 - 75 runs, and then England amassing a good lead, the match as it sits could go a few different ways.

Great match.

Good day overall for Pakistan with YK back in form but this is heading for another Edgbaston repeat. They will get rolled tomorrow morning, and the pitch will still be very good for batting, so Yasir won't get turn. England is likely to bat well because they usually do when they are trying to make a comeback into the match. And then when Pakistan finally bat again, it will be a day 5 pitch and the ball will start reversing.
