Agree it probably wouldn't be given out were it not a Test.

But given that it would set sent the bails flying had Broad not got his leg in the way, it's hard to ague it's against the spirit of 'leg before wicket'.

Yea because even when the ball hits outside the line or pitches outside leg and hits the stumps its always given out. Also Hawkeye isnt exactly 100% reliable. And it wouldn't have been controversial if it had Been given not out even if 5% of the ball was shown to be clipping. But no let's just be unfunny and obtuse mongs.

Moeen at 6 - average 21, 0 hunderds
Moeen at 7 - average 114, 3 hundreds
Moeen at 8 - average 28, 0 hundreds

it's kinda weird
Stokes has a great record at 6 as well.

The answer is obviously to drop Vince, move Bairstow, Stokes and Moeen up, and then slot the new batsman in at 8.

8 is a bit low for Borthwick (also he only made 25 runs in his last FC game and didn't look great on debut) so I think they should pick someone else instead, maybe the best keeper in England.

Well that's nicely insulting, well done. D'ya know I'm reasonably sure even nowadays occasionally balls that clearly aren't hitting the stumps have been given out by umpires.

I would have been fine with both decisions really, no controversy at all really, except with you and your entire in-no-way mongness.

Don't really care how many overs they bowl in the first 2 hours and 20 minutes as long as they hit 90 by 6:30.
Oh look. Pakistan won't be anywhere near their quota by close. Who could have predicted that?
(Anyone who understands how time works)

Woakes is obviously going to come on for the last over and get a wicket.

Edit: Wait they're not going to get that many overs in.

They are given when they shouldn't be, you're not arguing against me. All this emphasises is that DRS must be in the umpires hands.

Talk of 4 day Test Matches with 100+ Over days is nonsense, but it shouldn't be this difficult to bowl 90 overs in 6 and a half hours.
