Real question is whether he's writing in Urdu or EnglishWhat I imagine Younis Khan is writing in his notebook
It's massively dependent on the batsman's comfort factor. In case of a guy like Pujara, you don't mind him playing out 10 consecutive maidens. Most batsmen would prefer to keep things ticking over, though. At least mess with the fielding team's plans by rotating strike. Otherwise you just let bowlers relentlessly tighten the noose until one eventually gets you. Most batsmen can't just completely shut shop when they feel like it.Run rate is usually easy to up if you stick around long enough, and if you don’t stick around long then you probably want to take time out of the game anyway. Scoring slowly in tests is massively underrated imo.
Yep, blocked solidly and rotated strike early when Masood was there and now he's tucking into Archer freebiesWhat a knock. Superb change of gears
Was wondering if anyone else thought that sounded a bit awkward from WarneReal question is whether he's writing in Urdu or English
You'll be fine. The sun won't make a difference, so sit back and enjoy.England get to bat with the sun out. Grr. English weather is a conspiracy.
To oddly defend Warne there is unlikely to be any malice because he is just pure verbal diarrhoea. Doesn't really do cogent thoughts. Was wondering if anyone else thought that sounded a bit awkward from Warne
