*Official* Pakistan in England 2020

Am trying to work out why Woakes annoys me so much, and aside from the obvious (being English) I think it's just he's so nondescript as a cricketer. Like I can imagine him playing 50 odd tests and less than 10% of genuine cricket fans understandably remembering a single thing he's ever done.
Likely jealous of his luscious locks, good looks and general pleasant disposition.

Adam: "It's not a conspiracy theory - Shan Masood has been working with the same batting coach as Sibley. Bloke called Gary Palmer." And you are also George Dobell in disguise...

Makes sense...

Some truth in that. The first performance that came to mind was his 137* against the Indians on their last tour rather than any of his bowling.

Kind of bowler who one perceives as nipping players out rather than running through teams.

I think it's because his most memorable spells are just less impressive looking versions of Anderson's and Broad's.

Shan has been slow obviously but the strokeplay has thankfully been a delight to watch unlike Sibley

I don't understand how you pick 5 bowlers in the team also have Stokes, and Root still ends up bowling 5 overs.
