They’re playing it pretty well tbf. Will be interesting to see what happens when Woakes and Curran come on.
Yeah they've settled in a bit but they'll still need a lot of luck to survive. Some of these deliveries are just flat-out unplayable.

Flash flood in my house last night, just what you need after a run of night shifts and no sleep. Was shin deep outside our house and I opened the back door to just sweep it out of there. Nice and sunny today. May watch some cricket now after being up since 4 sorting stuff out seeing as the skip doesn't come till tomorrow.

That’s a nightmare!! Like you say, just what you need when you’re deprived of sleep. We had the same thing 12 months ago in a ground floor flat we rented, completely flooded lost everything, still working on the insurance claim this morning!

That's a nightmare. Had to deal with something similar and I still have PTSD over it.

Our catching really is ridiculous. Fair enough if opponents are too good for you, but at least catch the ****ing ball.

Have both batsmen been dropped now?

This was fine, last place where I lived in Shrewsbury got flooded twice in a couple of years and it was waist deep in the house and full of sewage at least this was rain water that was fairly clean in comparison. It could be far worse, you look at the poor sods in the train crash in Scotland and a bit of water is nothing in comparison, think wife and kids are stressed but I seen it all before.

Stressed about our catching though, not good.

Belatedly sorry to hear that, sounds awful.

EDIT
Just seen your comment above.

Good luck mate. Sounds really, really rough to me, so it's encouraging that you're able to get worked up about cricket instead.

Trying to laugh really, every towel and anything that needed washing was thrown in the hall to try and stop the water flowing into lounge, on 5th load of washing today.

At least the washing machine still works and the freezer is still chugging away. Just got carpet and other junk in garden till tomorrow.
