Norwood's on Fire
Ha, what is he saying?Okay.
Ah good stuff @ Boycott ripping into Ponting again. Lovely.

I didn't know you were talking from rankings pov. And you had included that in your table didn't you?Don't see what that has to do with my point.
Sorry this is crazy talk. Pak would have probably been 3/15 tomorrow morning regardless. Calling for a declaration 420 ahead on day 3 is ridiculous. How so? England reducing Pakistan to 15-3 is a far more dominant position than starting tomorrow with Pakistan on 0-0. Makes the chances of Pakistan saving the game even slimmer than they would have been if Prior and Finn had plodded along for the rest of the evening session.
Just said that if Ponting had bowled at Headingley last week like he should Australia would have won easily. Not really having a massive go just saying what everyone else has.Still cant handle the fact that Ponting is sooooooooooooooooo much better a batsman than him or is he actually making a logical point for a change
Quite right too.Boycott was just saying things along the line of if Ponting had chosen to bowl at Headingley "like any idiot would have done" they'd have won inside two days.
Just imagine this batting line up for Pakistan :I just feel bad for pakistani bowlers.. they have to bowle and bat if there is a chance for pakistan to win or draw a match lol
Guess what, it's not luck to not lose all your wickets. Keep rolling out the same tired agenda but just because you say it all the time doesn't make it true.I didn't know you were talking from rankings pov. And you had included that in your table didn't you?
If you are talking about only last 3 years, then a team like India would've got only Australia and Sri Lanka to play overseas. Sri Lanka eg has not played SA since 2002 in SA.
England on the other hand, managed to concede away series to even West Indies. But for some luck, they'd have lost SA series also 3-1.
Summing up, it is a joke to say England deserves to be anywhere near top 3 atm, unless they manage to topple Aussies late this year.
Nah, they have 1 world class bowler, 2 world class young talents (Aamer and Umar) who will be prone to inconsistency, 1 very up and down seamer in Gul and the rest are Bangladesh all backed by the worst fielding side in the worldPakistan should have done much better in this match considering they've already played a couple of Tests and should be used to the conditions by now. Disappointing performance really all around.
Generally speaking though, if you go back further than 3 years then it becomes close to irrelevant, because certain teams bear no resemblance to the current side.I didn't know you were talking from rankings pov. And you had included that in your table didn't you?

The Bangladesh batting is better than Pakistan anyway so the person comparing them is wrong anyway.Combine the Bangladesh batting with the Pakistan bowling and you'd have a good side. How can you dismiss Pakistan's batting order as Bangladesh just because it is inexperienced... atleast give the likes of Ali/Amin/Akmal some time to prove themselves FFS.
So what your saying is that "today" (i.e. the game we're talking about), I'm not wrongHow can you dismiss Pakistan's batting order as Bangladesh just because it is inexperienced... atleast give the likes of Ali/Amin/Akmal some time to prove themselves FFS.
As it stands, Bangladesh have a better batting line up than Pakistan. How can you dismiss Pakistan's batting order as Bangladesh just because it is inexperienced... atleast give the likes of Ali/Amin/Akmal some time to prove themselves FFS.
Yep, pretty much on board with that.As it stands, Bangladesh have a better batting line up than Pakistan.
