Think about time to let Mushy off the gloves and bat him higher. Anamul to bat at no.7 and keep as well. Or maybe Liton who is a keeper also.

Is the reason Pakistan has had so many great left arm pacers in the last decade (Junaid, Rahat, Wahab, Amir, Irfan, Tanvir) that Wasim is more of an inspiration than Waqar?

Just realized that in this century, Pakistan is pretty much the only top country to not have a good opening batsman (discounting perhaps Salman Butt)

Shezhad is good if a little bit of a twit.

Hafeez in his element here, although long term next year Pakistan travel to England and Australia and possibly NZ, going to be a serious reality check then.

Hence, perhaps. Probably would have become better, if he didn't turn out to be, you know, a dick.

BD have to bat atleast around 5 sessions to save this Test which is going to be a very tough job esp at 4th/5th day when pitch probably will offer something for Yasir And Babar along with Hafeez. Same old story written all over for BD in the coming days.

Goddammit, I've bet all the money I won from the ODI's and T20 on this Test being drawn at not so great odds. I should have known better. Also after Day 1 odds for Pakistan to win were very juicy, I missed out there.

A lot of Bangladesh players made 20s and 30s and then got out. Bangladesh has come a long way but just shows they still have a long way to go. They have bridged the gap in ODIs which is a great step for them. They are showing lots of promise. Am really happy with the progress they are making.

Gun part timer over that from Monimul.:-O
Mominul was a legit allrounder at U-19 level.

Severely underrated and underused bowler.

BD should play 3 quicks, Shakib, and let guys like Mominul, Nasir, Mahmadullah, Hom, etc etc do a lot more bowling.

Shakib seems to be not coming out of limited overs mode

Played a horrendous shot coming down the wickets and bowling very poorly.

So Shahid is picked because he can bowl long spells, and has bowled only 13 overs so far. Out of 117. ITSTL.

Has Shakib been bowling poorly or have they just played him really well?

Also what happened to Mushy?

So, Misbah the Great is on the brink of lifting his Test Avergae above 50. It's a cruel thing that a batsman is nearly 41 years old, proving to be in todays world's batting top, yet having fewer than 4000 career runs.
