FYI, Pakistan would have to smash a ground record (record is 331 set 80-odd years ago) to win this Test even if Ponting declared right now. In the 2000's, a decent time to bat I think most would agree, only 9 teams (out of 140-odd) have won on 4th innings chasing 300+ anywhere and they had far, far better batting line-ups than Pakistan have right now. Most teams don't get within 100 runs of the target when set 300+ either.

Records are made to be broken, etc. but the game is basically over for Pakistan, just comes down to Ponting leaving enough time for OZ to win at this point.
