Ponting told abc that sevaral players will be rotated,wonder who resrs and who comes in.
On clarke blewitt reckons he is struggling,so many suicidal runs today,lucky pakistan can't field.

He's not struggling, he's just not good enough any more. That said, I think he's played a lot worse innings then todays. Anyways, with White and Watson in the team and Hussey in top form I think we can carry him for now.

Pasaq imagine when he bats 4 for our 20.20 team,dot ball,dot ball,single,dot ball,2 runs,dot ball.
At the end of the day he will just come out and say as captain we did not get enough runs/

Well, I am going to throw some numbers at you.

In his 15 most recent ODIs he has averaged 55.58 including 6 fifties and one hundred. Of these 15 games we have won 12, some of which he was captain for.

Obviously we can win without Clarke (eg. champions trophy and India), but he is not exactly costing us matches. Perhaps if he was averaging 15 and we had lost most of those games the question could be asked but as long as he is scoring runs and we are winning games I could care less whether he has a SR of 50.00 or 150.00.

Besides, his innings tonight was great. After we lost a couple of quick wickets he formed a steady partnership with Marsh and got 80 off 90 balls. What more could you ask for? If you find his batting boring then go watch some Twenty20 or BMX or something more entertaining.

I dont really like watching Clarke bat in any form of cricket, but in Tests/ODIs he does the job pretty bloody well

^ I couldn't agree more.. the only reason i watched last night's match was because of Afridi..he played a decent hand with bat.. it was worth staying up and waiting for him to bat..

+1 to Alan Legend. Clarke has had some poor patches in ODIs, but to slam him for yesterdays innings is ridiculous.
