well i was waiting for a drop catch.. i predicted that pakistan is going to drop afew catches, miss afew run outs and give away afew extra runs because of their fielding.. well Aus going to win it from here on.. Pakistan had the match in thier grip when pointing got but Aus are coming back strongly..

Apart from his start, this has been an awesome innings from White. Coming in at five, six or seven definately suits him. So impressed.

Seriously though, a brilliant knock by White. Some of his shots were just astounding and he paced his innings incredibly well, turning what was looking like a loss into a relative cakewalk against some pretty good pace bowling. Clarke proved able support by working the singles, whilst Hussey came in at the end with his hyper-Bevan brilliance.

Our bowling attack is a slight concern, though. It is too early to make a call on McKay, but Siddle has struggled to take wickets in ODI's thus far. Hauritz didn't do very well, but nor did Afridi or Ajmal in the end.

We also need to tighten up our fielding.

Another master class by Yousuf. Aus 3 down and on the brink but instead of attacking and going for the win, he puts everyone back and lets the rebuild begin. Fine knock from White though.

God knows why Rana is still around for Pak. Liability with the ball, Champions Trophy meltdown proved that and the amount of times he has come off internationally with the bat can be counted on one hand. Gul whilst being no test bowler, has to play in the limited overs stuff.

Cameron White simply brilliant tonight. Can frustrate by starting scratchy and struggling to hit the ball past the infield for 20 to 30 balls first up, but he is rapidly developing the ability to compile an innings, and put the aggression on when required. Starting to see similarities between White and Symonds in the way they bat.

Has a fantastic record with the bat already, has secured his spot on the ODI side for atleast 6 to 12 months, and is still only 26 and has scope to develop. Has started to silence his detractors since his good run of form in ODI cricket.

I'd have no problems if the Oz selectors threw a few batsmen to the lions during this series (including North) and let the best man win the no. 6 position

Guys like Ponting need this series like a hole in the head so they should adopt a similar policy to the bowlers and play some prospects

Naturally, this wont happen so it'll come down to either North, Marsh or White
