*Official* Pakistan in Australia 2024 (white ball tour)

To be honest this AUS vs PAK ODI series feels like a "nothing series". Why CA/ICC scheduled this ODI series in November when we have a Test series between AUS vs IND...its a strange decision. Clearly Australia don't really care about this ODI series vs Pakistan. Australia are focused on the upcoming Test series against India. But full credit to Pakistan, they have played really well this series. Hopefully they can become more consistent, which has let them down for years....consistency is the key for them.

it could probably be argued opening with zampa would have made more sense.

but i'm sure that was inglis decision and absolutely nothing to do with anyone else

Whatever happened to multi-format series?

Funny I thought the point of the new ODI qualifying system was to make every series matter so teams won't field under strength sides. Not sure what choice they had when it effectively overlaps with a Test series though . . . poor scheduling more than anything really.

Anyway still important to give credit to Pakistan who played very good cricket. They might have won even against a full strength side. Good chance they would have IMO
