No idea why M Marsh is coming in at 4 when we've lost 2 quick wickets. Need a proper batsman, not a slogger.

I think this also underlines how bad NZ bowled, although I think the wickets have been a little better in this series rather than flat.

Why he played that shot first ball, if he really is a good shot maker in the nets or something that we don't see much of then his decision making is utter crap. The batting coach needs to work on that with him

Yeah I don't get picking Marsh to bat Top 4, especially when early wickets fell. Does deserve his spot in the side overall though.

Chappell is a sad old git. Using his logic,

Australia got annihilated by Sri Lanka? Australia should not be allowed to tour Sri Lanka anymore as they stink too badly. England should have probably lost their test status during the 1990s. In fact both countries, Oz and England, should have lost their test status during the '80s when they were suffering back-to-back 'blackwashes' and playing some shockingly awful cricket.

Using Ian Chappell logic.
Australia never got black-washed in the 80s.

What's this business of trying to force deliveries through the off side when they're to short and close to the body? Seems to be a real problem for our batsmen. There's plenty of time, you don't need runs off every ball.
