i am hoping the logic is that he has sufficiently impressed in the tests to not play in the odi's, and therefore others are getting a look in to show what they can do.

hmm.....I don't believe it would be the case but it would be nice if the team mgmt for a change was thinking along those lines

If you really want 90+ then sami is always there. still bowls 90 above.
Talhas time hasnt come and Pakistanis should get over their obsessiveness of 90+ bowlers. It is not necessary to have a Shoaib Akhtar in team always.
