Nice understatement. You didn't need Nostradamus to predict who wouldbe the biggest threat, so you make damn sure they can read him. One would have thought. Perhaps they thought he wouldn't be a threat here because he didn't run through them in England 18 months ago, which is on a par with Keith Fletcher writing off Kumble before the infamous 1992/93 tour after watching him in SA.
Not very intelligent, and it's probably cost us the match.
Two spinners is looking a better approach on these tracks as well.

Hmm perhaps, Monty was doing okay in the warm-up games. Would've been a big decision though, dropping a very good player for a very poor one purely on conditions.
