How about investing in youth
Tim McIntosh placed for a local Shropshire Club side, Shifnal, where I practised with County Squad and I saw him in the nets and bowled at him. He looked very strong defensivily but although he didn't set the world on fire he was quite consistant and even bowled well through the season. I wouldn't say he looked International Standard but he definatly acted like a Pro. But if he's good enough he'll have a go...if he becomes famous...I've got his sitniture 1st :POriginally posted by Tim
I see James Marshall has been averaging 50 for his Sydney club which is good news. I rate James Marshall & I think he started to come of age last season with that big double century in March.
Alot of people say his brother Hamish is good but its James who has been putting the consistent scores up & I think if NZ continue to struggle with openers, J.Marshall could be in line alongside Tim McIntosh & Richard Jones.
