Cricketer Of The Year
Yeah that was extraordinary. Tigers thoroughly deserved to lose that tbh. The final try was buttersoft. What a game between Souths and Wests Tigers.

Will be tough for you this week, but shutting down Parra is about shutting down Hayne and Lockyear isn't pivotal to that. Knights at EAS will be tougher. They're looking real good right about now.Broncos' season could be over with Lockyer to miss possibly two weeks and Moi Moi being able to play with an early guilty plea.
Sorry, can't sympathise. The Raiders getting up means my tipping week goes from ordinary (3) to passable (4).Too angry to post. Way way too angry.
Meh tipping. We got absolutely dudded there.Sorry, can't sympathise. The Raiders getting up means my tipping week goes from ordinary (3) to passable (4).
Yeah ok mate. Like we can tell when in one half one team gets piggy backs, then in the other half can't buy the ball to save their life. Refs were desperate to "make their mark" on that one and we copped the worst of it. What can you do?Canberra the better team.
Canberra clearly the better team.....
Roy Masters has a view on the whole thing.Greg Inglis will play for Brisbane next year.
I was more interested in how the Titans would have space in the cap in their attempt to try and sign Inglis. I know Zillman gets approx $250k a year, Campbell has just re-signed, and people like Laffranchi, Prince, Minichiello, Harrison, Bailey, Friend are not all cheap either. Given Mat Rogers recent form, and him being off contract, there is a push here on the Gold Coast to get local business together to pay for Rogers' contract extension. But then Michael Searle is an accountant by trade, so maybe he knows a few tricks for some 'creative accounting', so to speak. But they wouldn't want a salary cap type scandal, because it will just give more free publicity for the new Gold Coast Suns AFL franchise and 'fans' to to jump ship.Roy Masters has a view on the whole thing.
Greg Inglis to Brisbane Broncos | Melbourne Storm
As long as no one tries to claim there were no alarm bells.
All Penrith needed to do all night was go left. And they did. But then they stopped. That's why they lost. Plain and simply. Would have won if Walsh was playing.Yeah ok mate. Like we can tell when in one half one team gets piggy backs, then in the other half can't buy the ball to save their life. Got some mean forwards the Raiders though I'll give them that. Didn't look like getting to our end without help, but once they got there they did well. Couldn't stop them for a while.
We have comfortably the worst player in the NRL playing week in week out in our backline. With other options banging down the door Adrian "couldn't read a book if it had a 3 or 4 on it's back" Purtell trotts out, gifting 1 or 2 tries to the opposition on a good day, 3 or 4 tries on a bad one (tonight was a bad one). Yet in 12 odd hours time like ****ing clockwork a guy who couldn't run through a paper bag let alone tackle it without help will get picked in a position that requires both hard running, and good 1v1 tackling. Honestly if that muffin is an NRL standard footballer I'm a snow leopard. And I'm not a ****ing snow leopard.
Biggest shame was some players were really really good tonight. Gordon was magnificent in an unfamiliar position, Lewis (before that pass) was awesome as well. They didn't deserve to be on a losing team along with a few others.
Yeah probably too angry to post tbh. **** it.
Funny, cause that's all Canberra needed to do too really. All Penrith needed to do all night was go left. And they did. But then they stopped. That's why they lost. Plain and simply. Would have won if Walsh was playing.
