Feel sorry for Gallen.
Honestly can't think of a scenario in which I would feel sorry for Gallen. Can't stand the bloke.

So happy with my team tonight. The Roosters are dire, but you can only play who's in front of you, and we didn't give them a sniff. Luke Walsh has to be up there for buy of the season. We look 300% better with him in the side, and he cost us next to nothing. If we play like that every week and we'll be in the top 4 by the end of the year.

Did anyone see the biff in the Dogs-Storm game last night and the grub Anthony Quinn put an Ankle lock on the Dogs player on the groud... I honestly thought i was seeing things until i watched it over again and i was right...

Also would have been super to see Mickey Paea let loose on Gallen, someone to knock that GRUB out once and for all...

I hate Gallen as much as the next guy (more probably) but the look on the guys face during these games just makes me sad. He looks so defeated. He's a **** of a bloke but he's a hell of a player and it's sad to see him carrying a team completely on his back.

The thing is though no one in Sydney want to see them play, they basically have the late Friday night game every week here. Was the main reason why Manly had about 10 weeks of Friday night games in a row last season. So there was atleast one match in Sydney that got some rating. Basically they get the worst TV slot in Sydney and best TV slot in Brisbane. Unless another Queensland side starts to dominate, they will play on Friday night for the next 10 years.
LOL its not that the Broncos dont rate in Sydney, its just a decision that Nine made to play a NSW team in NSW in the 7.30 timeslot and a Qld team in Qld in the 7.30 timeslot and then show them opposite on delay.
Its got nothing to do with Broncos not rating earlier in NSW as its really irrelevant.

Walsh always had potential, been saying it for ages. Remember 2-3 years ago Knights re-signed him before he had played an NRL game and there were no less than 8 other clubs trying to sign him, obviously theres something there.

Every single person I know doesn't watch the Broncos when they play the 7:30 timeslot.

Most people I know complain there isn't a 2nd match on Fridays that they ever want to watch. Most people don't even watch them on 9:30 slot unless it against their side.

I think you will be surprised how little they rate in Sydney, Simon.

Don't see why Gold Coast vs Manly couldn't have been the QLD Friday night game this week or even the Cowboys vs Knights. Both should be quality contests.

Broncos vs Tigers turned out to be a pretty good game though. Tigers seem to play heaps on Ch9 too.

Blewy, your mate's on the front page of the Sun Herald today - looks like the Navy's no longer a career option.

Jesus. Melbourne have the Monday hangover tonight. Great effort Inglis there though.

Edit: **** me, he's disallowed it. Can't see the Dogs fans throwing **** over that. Christ I hate that club. Worst outfit in worldwide professional sport.
**** call especially when he gave it to Will Chambers later on in the game. I think the bulldogs still would have won, but I hope Harrigan can explain the difference between the two.

But on a different note, what about that try to Michael Jennings? I don't know who is the Roosters tackling coach is, but methinks it is a time to hire a new one, or remind everybody that it is not NRL not touch footy.

Pure awesome. One of the best tries I've seen in a long time. His third wasn't all that bad either and was trademark Jennings. Surely he just scored himself a blues jersey with that performance.

Was anyone else confused as to how Lewis' first half try was awarded? Looked a dead set double movement, and I couldn't even see how he got his arm on the line.

Not sure if anyone's watching the U20s Warriors/Raiders game but there was a try scored by the Warriors fullback that was an absolute stunner. Similar tryline to tryline stuff.

Was always his tbh. Lyon shouldn't be picked. Don't know why you'd be cruel enough to pick someone who doesn't want to play and then blame him for not giving 100% when Hodges/Inglis show him up.

NSW

Gidley
McManus
Jennings
Monaghan
Hayne
Campese
Wallace
Kite
Farah
Weyman
Laffranchi

After that last post of yours forgive me if I take your opinions with a grain of salt

Would be surprised if Cooper isn't the 2nd back picked for NSW after Gidley. If Lyon gets picked as the 2nd centre. Jennings got a pretty tough job getting ahead of Monaghan and Hayne.

I don't really care for the Warriors, and only watched today because I was bored at work, but could they have been any more toothless in attack? Both their tries came from what could be argued were borderline decisions and - aside from one other forward pass - they didn't even look like scoring. The passing is ****ing atrocious and Vatuvei sees the ball about once every half.
