Imagine how bad a player he would be if he didn't. Sometimes just having a go isnt enough. The guy has played over 200 NRL games and has never been anything more than average.

But the fact is he did have a go, and performed well enough to get Parra within a whisker of the grand final a couple of years ago. It seems like incredibly poor management on Anderson's behalf to alienate his halfback when there is no obvious replacement in the wings. They could do better than Finch, but I doubt they could do better than Finch this year.

Talk is they are going for the cheaper and more cost effective Micheal Monaghan. The biggest problem they have with Finch is the money he cost it makes it near impossible to buy in a decent 5/8. There was a fall out, but if the club wasn't looking else where they may have made more an effect to keep him.

Michael Monaghan was a better hooker than he was a halfback in the NRL, plus his form in the ESL is apparently pretty shocking. They could do a lot worse than him though.

He was a better halfback imo. It was just the team played better with him at hooker and Orford at halfback. His best games individually were at halfback.
Though the big thing with a player like him is that you still buy in another good 5/8 next to him. Which is what Parra need not another top half but no one around them. They played at their best with Finch and Smith.

The funny/sad thing about NRL tipping is even though no one really has a clue who will win this week. We all still seem to go for the same teams. You don't ever seem to get too many people going for more then 2-3 different picks.

He is indeed, incredible skills though, perfect tackling technique, the few grade games I've seen him play against older opposition he's been targeted in defence and he absolutely belted some blokes twice his size.

Why is everyone so sure about Dogs vs Rabbits? Dogs haven't been all that impressive for mine, while the Rabbits have been mostly very impressive. Thought it would be at least 50/50.
