Knights are apparently chasing Ennis for 2009 as a replacement for Buderus. If he was to sign anywhere outside of Brisbane, it'd be my guess he'd go to back to Newcastle where he was a junior so they might be some chance of getting him.

Also talk of him going back to St.George with Bennett, the Knights are also supposedly chasing Finch and De Gois.

Yep, the Eels finch. Was in the local paper and somewhere on foxsports I think. Walsh seems to be out of favour and i'm not sure if Dureau has re-signed yet.

Interesting. I read about Ennis in "The Australian" newspaper, and it mentioned De Gois briefly as well, but didn't say anything about Finch.

Ennis will go to the Knights, 100% done imo, Bennett wants Priddis at the Dragons so I don't think he'll need Ennis. I think theres a better chance of seeing Ashton Sims go back to St George.

Cant see Finch going to the Knights, only reason this has been thrown up imo is that hes from the area, but Knights have a lot of good young halves so I think the options for Finch are to stay at Parra (depending on Tim Smith), go to Melbourne or Dragons.

Apparently Steve Wlaters will be hooker int he team of the century announced tonight, according to the media.

Surprised Walsh didn't get it, but Boxhead is the best hooker I've seen play, apart from Michael Moseley of course .

I really do not want Johns as the halfback, Holman, Smith, Langer or Sterling please, anyone but Johns.

bit of both, Johns was an exceptional player, best of his generation obviously, but I think people got carried away with just how good he was. I struggle to see how he can be called the best of all time.
The drugs thing is just another side of it, being regarded as an immortal, hall of famer, etc... these players showed more than ability on the field, they were ambassadors for the game and were great role models. Neither of which Johns is.
