Don't like it tbh. Queensland will go in favourites, they'll be talk again of the great backline and how inexperienced N.S.W. are in the key areas. Prefer it the other way around tbh.

It is a curse isn't it? If Queensland go in as underdogs, they generally do a lot better then as favourites. I guess Big Mal has to get telling them that NSW are still the favourites.

Good to see Pearce get a call up. Even if we don't win next Wednesday, reckon he will be good for future that Wallace and Pearce got blooded early at orgin level. Reckon it is one of the reasons why Thurston and Prince are as good as they are know cus they were played early.

Hopefully he has a decent enough game, so we never hear of Jarrad Mullen or Brett Finch names when it comes to Orgin selection.

Also good to see Gildey not picked at halfback, he is great player, but not a orgin halfback.

Loving the potential underdog status, got nothing to lose, cus on paper we should get smashed again. Main reason why we got so smashed in the 2nd game. We started talking ourselves up and weren't concentrating on improving from the first game.

It is an Origin tradition though, see which team can play the underdog status for the longest. As a QLD it is more comfortable being the outsider, and so we should be given that we have only won once at Telstra/ANZ Stadium since it opened, and the next best result is a draw. Queensland should of smashed NSW in Sydney but it didn't happen, because of where the game is played NSW favourites for mine.

I'll lay my avatar on the line, if NSW get up, NSW fans are allowed to pick my avatar (of whatever they like) and keep it for a month.

Round 15 Results

James90 - 67
Boy Brumby - 67
Mr Wright - 66
Morgieb - 66
Burgey - 66
Clapo - 65
Chaminda_00 - 64
DCYE - 63
Tozzer - 62
99* - 61
Simon - 58

We have a new set of leaders for the first time a while, with Mr Wright dropping back one place, and Stedman, who along with Burgey top scored this round with 7, joins Brumby at the top on 67. Stedman was the only person to tip the Bunnies over the Cowboys, whilst there were quite a number who tipped the 'Dogs over the Raiders, or the Eels over the Sharks.

Round 16:
Panthers v Broncos
Roosters v Bulldogs
Titans v Dragons
Sea Eagles v Knights
Cowboys v Rabbitohs
Wests Tigers v Warriors
Eels v Storm
Raiders v Sharks

Happy to go that bet also.

However, I'd like to compete directly with a N.S.W. fan, who would like to meet the challenge. First in, first served.

Hardest week to work in my life ever this week, knowing I'm heading down to Sydney and all for the 3rd game. Only two more work days to go!

I see that Jamie Lyon declined Bellamy's overtures regarding Origin selection. As a result, Newcastle want him to stand aside from this weekend's fixture. Good on Lyon for being honest and declaring his heart is not in it, but I do think the Knights have a point.

What point might that be? I fail to see why Lyon shouldn't play.
The Manly club is being advantaged by Lyon turning down selection (as distinct from announcing before the Series that he was unavailable). By contrast, Newcastle for example, is being penalised by Buderus being selected. I don't have a problem if players declare themselves unavailable in advance.
