Yeah I was going to mention Hodges as well, he has to be in the centres...
What would your team be Simon?

Bell is playing betterMister Wright said:Has to be the first player picked on current form, surely.
Nice side, still would have Bell over Tate anyday of the week on his current form.broncoman said:1 Clinton Schifcofske

Matt Sing i dont think is playing origin this year, Schif surely has to be there, even if hes not im still picking him in my side. With Stagg in the backrow we have an 80 minute player who will make 50 tackles, Berrigan on the bench because he can play anywhere, ive also gone with a pretty big bench, but its essential if we are to compete with the likes of O'Meley coming off the bench...
Payne is a good player, but Smith is made for Origin, works his **** off and makes A LOT of tackles and really plays his heart out. Hes also the goalkicker (if Schif isnt picked).burkey_1988 said:Payne has to be there ahead of Smith for mine.
its a tough one cause Tate hasnt played any footy this year, Bell would be my 3rd choice cause Tonga is struggling... Tate is an incumbent and if he comes back from injury and plays good footy he'd be picked, but i wouldnt be too disapointed if Bell was there...chaminda_00 said:Nice side, still would have Bell over Tate anyday of the week on his current form.
Marsh is out for a minimum 6 weeks anyway which has pretty much dashed his origin chances, i think our backrow is ok, Crocker is picked on default as really one of the few options we have, Stagg is made for origin, i think he will lift for it. Harrison deserves a chance as he played game 3 last year, but Tonie Carroll is still lurking....Blaze said:Forget Payne and Smith , PJ Marsh is a must IMO.
And Simon, that is a good side... I would have the exact same backline, but I don't like your back row.
Crocker, Stagg and Harrison will get murdered by Kennedy, Menzies, Watmough etc.
I like Stagg, and Harrison probably deserves a spot as well... tbh I can't think of too many other Queensland back rowers to replace them.
Creagh, or O'Donnell or someone will replace him though so they will still have a strong backrow.chaminda_00 said:BK retired from State of Orgin
and i cant see Watmough getting picked after what happened last year...chaminda_00 said:BK retired from State of Orgin
Oh yeah, completely forgot about Hindmarsh...broncoman said:and i cant see Watmough getting picked after what happened last year...
NSW's origin backrow
11 Nathan Hindmarsh
12 Craig Fitzgibbon
13 Luke O'Donnell
Ryan doesnt deserve his spot, and Menzies will miss out againchaminda_00 said:11 Nathan Hindmarsh

ankle injury, doesnt look good for him...Blaze said:Oh yeah, completely forgot about Hindmarsh...
Didn't see Parramata play in the weekend, how did Marsh get injured?
