Fantastic game, that... you have to feel for Marshall for coming so close.

I might even change my mind about Australia being deserving winners after pegging the New Zealanders back from the verge of victory. Or maybe it was just that NZ were more deserving losers...

Either way, who cares? It was a damn good second innings.

I just think its worth mentioning that Brett Lee bowled quite well tonight, compared to Kapsrowicz who once again got smashed by the Kiwis.

It's the truth, our batting in the last 4 matches has not been the best and without Glenn McGrath, Australia would of lost a lot more matches.

Take my hat off to Marshall & Macca for making worthwhile innings while everyone else struggled so much. Shame we lost. We could have won it, but McGrath is too good to play shots against and it showed.

Great game. Good comeback by the NZers when they looked all but dead. But you have to give credit to the Aussies. The only way they were going to win at the death was by taking wickets - so they did.

Lowlight - Billy Bowden's umpiring - thought he had a shocker in both innings.

Good game - hope for 4 more of the same quality
