I can't believe I ate the whole thing
KW has a 100 against all nations, quickest to it as well apparently. First New Zealander to do it!

So Sodhi and Santner are going to presumably do the bulk of the work. Will be interesting to see how that goes.

The Boss is in his office. Presently 22(39).

If he plays this by the book he will just tick things over until another 100 runs have been added to the team total. No rush he will be thinking.

Pretty unconvincing innings from Nicholls. Would've liked to see Santner coming in now tbh.

Awful shot from Nicholls where the sweep was never on. He plays far too loosely to be a regular test player.
Yup. But unfortunately Nicholls made enough runs for NZ A and in ODIs early last season, so got the test spot he will keep until end of this home season. Will Young needed a couple of early season FC 100s to nudge ahead in the race, but only made 50s, so now needs to wait until a year, and by then is in danger of Popli having another big year.

Rahane's played less than half of KW's innings and is only missing out on Zimbabwe (probably will never get to fill his boots against them), Bangladesh (has a 90 odd in his only innings against them) and Pakistan (not going to play them because politics).

What I'm saying is that Rahane is better than KW.

Yes unfortunately Young didn't kick on last season which is a shame because he looks a far better bet than Nicholls. Popli strikes me as someone who will end up in the same boat as Stephen Murdoch where they score plenty at domestic level but never get considered for selection although if he has another season like his last then it will be hard to keep ignoring him.

And since KW now has centuries vs all, we can comfortably say KW > Steve 'Spud' Smith, Joe 'Rubbish' Root, and Virat '****' Kohli; so therefore Rahane > all?
