These two batsmen making batting look easy. They're taking the hits on the body and putting away the bad ball. Good batting.

We've always been pretty good at gifting centuries. edit: not wanting to insult Williams here. Pity there wasn't more of this from more of the Zimbabwe batsmen.

I didn't pick Ballance because he'd have to spend four years re-qualifying. You could also arguably pick the Currans but I think that'd be a bit cheaty.
Sam and Ben Curran were born in England to be fair, so you can't really pick them just because of their Dad. I think picking Tom is fair enough though.

Yeah that's why I said it'd be a bit cheaty and decided against it. They're all technically eligible but none of them were born in or lived in Zimbabwe at any stage. Even Tom is from South Africa, not Zimbabwe.

I'm fairly certain they all had schooling in Zimbabwe for a while. Good catch on Tom, assumed it was Zimbabwe.

Looked out, imo, that LBW. They stopped the side-on replay at the point when the ball had risen up off the top of the pad, not where it actually hit him. He was a long way back in his crease, was hitting the top of middle pretty comfortably I reckon.

I'm absolutely stoked with that. If you offered me a massive innings defeat with some dishearteningly soft dismissals in the first innings, but a Sean Williams ton, I'd have taken it I think. Now even if he does retire prematurely (again) he can proudly say he got that Test ton. In another world he'd have ten of them by now, but I'm so glad he got there. Injured and all.

Classic Sodhi so far this innings. Didn't see much of him in the first innings, but this innings has been a mixture of good deliveries and abject ****, with nothing really in between. He's bowled a full toss or half-tracker every over.
