wot about 2 overs

bring on cairns 4 mills now 2 help bond at the death
Bring on Cairns, someone who is going for over 7 an over for the series, for Mills, who is currently one of only three of our bowlers who is actually bowling decently? :S

Cairns will probably be used primarily as a batsman, I'm guessing. Not sure though. I'd imagine they'd replace Bond with him, and I can't see them bowling out Bond that early. But when the other bowlers are doing this poorly, you never know.

Still, it's been a different story since Sehwag got out, so hopefully the bowlers won't do as badly against the rest of the batsmen.

Wouldn't mind seeing Cairns come in for Oram, who didn't bowl very well at all today.

Ooops, forgot that it involves the batting innings too. Forget my last comment!

oram's bowling wasnt too bad. yeah there were a few four balls in most of his overs but quite a few of the fours played by sehwag were lucky shots. i wouldn't bring cairns on to bowl as he has issues with his hamstring and his bowling (IMO) has been worse than oram's in this series.

people like graeme alridge will train all winter and bowl their hearts out for their provinces and not get in the team

cairns sits on his @$$ all winter then goes to a few net trainings and gets in the team

cough..reputation..cough

yep that's the way things are. you also have to ask that question about mills as well.

bond is really struggling, he looks very tired, even when he wasn't bowling. last 10 overs have been really good, hopefully we keep it like that for at least the next 5 or so overs.

big test for oram here, to restrict the 4 balls and continue with the pressure the othere bowlers have put on in the last 10 overs.

It doesn't show in his figures, though. Still excellent control. Or are the Indians playing the reputation and not the ball? (wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more)
