I can't remember anyone being a fan of Gambhir back when he was playing well. Even when his 97 won us the World Cup, everyone was just all about MSD and Yuvraj and Sachin.

Haha it's so weird. He's gone from being an underappreciated gun when he was in the team back in 2009-11 to a guy who has an inexplicably large number of people who want him back in the side even though we have several other good options. He's got runs in the IPL I think? Which is 90% of the cricket most people here watch anyway.

He hasn't been good in flat conditions in his past tests but I still always look forward to Henry bowling, particularly with the new ball. All good experience for him to eventually be a first choice seamer.
