Cricketer Of The Year
It's good in a way in that we'll be able to find out once and for all whether Jeet's success in English County cricket in the last 3 years actually means SFA when it comes to translating it to tests.
Nah you're all eventually going to learn that just because your first serve is one of the meeker and milder ones on the pro circuit and doesn't notch up many clean aces, the answer isn't to hit your second serve even harder and more rashly into the net and beyond the T line. That's effectively what the Howsies and BeeGees of the world have been doing, every time they demand the sight of a finger spinner in this Test side who isn't a recent Wisden Cricketer of the Year, and never will be.

ATG spinner and 2nd best offspinner of all time (Viriya, 2016) hit out of the attack on a 5th day crumbling wicket by an Australian domestic reject and pink panther.

Interestingly Ashwin returns for the new batsman. Obviously not one to operate when under the pump.

Stolen.

I'd go

Latham
Guptill (last chance :( )
I'm hearing Jeets may've been planning to fly into Wellington with the in-form Hamish Marshall, if we want to take this whole 'kids born in the early '80s were classier' revamp to of the Test XI to its extreme.

why would you appeal that loud for that. clearly cant be given out when its likely missing leg. dishonest bastards

remind me of kids in u/12s when lbws first start being given in junior cricket, appeal like idiots everytime a pad is struck coz they dont fully understand the intricacies of hte lbw rule yet

Great way to stack the rules so you can't lose. Whether he fails or succeeds, it doesn't matter. How Martin Guptill would like that mentality.

"Virat Kohli's always very excited about reverse swing. He's very excited. You can see it from his trousers there."

can we not play three spinners next test? Indias are better and that won't change

will be good to watch patel get slaughtered on a bunsen though

in fact this is good. i can write off jeets wickets as bunsen cheapies if he does well and gloat at athlai if he fails #can'tlose #CWATGdiscussiontactics
