That says a lot.Reckon Southee's bouncers were more likely to get a wicket than this.

Exactly. While there is undoubtedly a component of bad captaincy/bad bowling, a lot of it simply has to do with the mindset of the players. Harb is so pumped up and confident after his century, he would be absolutely loving every moment of this...Like we had to give credit to Mathews and Malinga... cannot believe my eyes, how am I seeing this for the second time in less than a fortnight
Understatement of the yearExactly. While there is undoubtedly a component of bad captaincy/bad bowling,
Bit of both. Reckon the captaincy was actually the biggest factor though.I missed most of the last session. Was our bowling really that bad after we got them 9 down, or did Harby just get ridiculously lucky?
Bowling was awful.I missed most of the last session. Was our bowling really that bad after we got them 9 down, or did Harby just get ridiculously lucky?
Yes and yes. Very lucky from Harbhajan but bloody hell...I missed most of the last session. Was our bowling really that bad after we got them 9 down, or did Harby just get ridiculously lucky?
They don't offer light to batsmen anymore; they just go off.India taking the light? Are they insane? We don't remotely look like taking a wicket, India have nothing to gain at all from going off.
Ahh, true that. Had forgotten. They don't offer light to batsmen anymore; they just go off.
I have to agree with this. Vettori and Southee have taken 7 of the wickets - all top Indian batsmen. Harb has all the confidence and a **** load of luck that combined with fatigue he has proven a mission to get rid of. I counted about 5 times he got lucky, when any other given day he would have been caught. Could have been a completely different story if he wasn't so damn lucky.Exactly. I was fine with Southee's bouncers - others didn't like them.I missed most of the last session. Was our bowling really that bad after we got them 9 down, or did Harby just get ridiculously lucky?
If it were us, we know that there would be a massive uproar if something like this occured. The thing is New Zealand actually had a chance to push for victory in this test match, a real good chance. But they blew it, completely. The sad thing is draw or lose this test match will be seen as a positive because New Zealand were "close" at one stage.
Such a sad culture it must be said, no wonder half the country couldn't give a rats about this team.
I don't know about that. When players are in the mood Harb is now, even awesome bowling/captaincy can still fail.Understatement of the year
