Bell suddenly in form??? What the heck, saw his T20 figures and I assumed he was a bit lucky with some poor bowling. He was woeful in the Tests.

He actually looked quite majestic in the Twenty20.. much like he does now. It certainly wasn't luck.

If Mills had got his foot behind the line he'd have been gone 1st ball of the match.

Being in form and having a minor blip are pretty different things IMO. One is you hitting the ball well and the other is looking like a fish out of water. Bell came back after that first ball and showed he was in the mood to score and now Mills will be forced to rue that first mistake.

Last time I looked the foot goes over the line before a player knicks it.

If he had planted his foot behind the line, then would the ball be the same? Would Bell have knicked it.

We will never know.

Well it wasn't even really a minor blip, I think that would've been a RUD if it hadn't been a no-ball. Was almost a superb delivery.

Was simply pointing-out that however good Bell's form, he'd not have had the chance to do a thing if Mills had got his foot in the right place.

Pinch hitter with 3 off 16. Honestly, if you're going to pick someone like Wright with the pure intention of getting off to a flyer, he has to at least attempt to do so.

Luke, if England wanted a genuine opening batsman, they'd have picked one.

Haha if Mills gets his foot behind the line he could have so easily hit the ball and not gotten an edge.
Nah I very much doubt it. It wasn't a big no-ball, and I doubt the outcome would've been any different had it been in the right position.

We've got the next Matthew Prior, maybe?

And NO, THIS IS NOT A PREDICTION ON THE OUTCOME OF THIS INNINGS IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cook would be scoring faster, and is a better player TBH.

Why not play a different role if the person with you is scoring well. Good on him IMO :)

I actually don't have a problem with Wright currently on 3 off 18, provided he doesn't get out now.

No logic in that.
Its impossible to predict an outcome such as that. If you change one thing, then there is no reason for the outcome to be the same. Actually it is highly unlikely, statistically.

Oh no, now McCullum's fielding well enough in the outfield to convince them to keep playing him as a specialist bat.

Oh, I just noticed James Marshall and Hopkins are both (apparently) playing in preference to Fulton.

WTF?
