You are right in that there is no need to panic but, and no disrespect to the Kiwis, if England have any pretentions of being World no. 1 then they should be looking to spank NZ.

Very true. I think right now we are a country mile behind SA, so any designs on the No1 spot are going to have to be a serious work in progress.
As for the rest of the field, still reckon we are No2 for now, but it is clear that when a side like NZ up their game and play well then they are more than a match for us.
I just hope NZ can go on from this and get some positive results in other series against good opposition......convinced this is a much better side than No8 in the rankings.
