Was just browsing the county scorecards seeing Essex 28-2, wondering if that useless sack of ****e Bopara had notched up a third consecutive duck before seeing that he wasn't playing, wondering if he'd been dumped again and so as you do needed several weeks of recovery time. Then realised the useless sack of ****e is on ****ing England duty yet again. It never really sinks in does it. How the **** is he in the squad again. Just for ****'s sake **** off.

Ah yes Turdbach, I can see how his brand of consistently 6 an over liquorish all-****es would be useful in a English Test-type ODI scenario. Hopefully his 0-40 off 6 will stick out more compared to a number of 2/3-30 off 9 bowling analyses.

Well the point there is that the debate was whether Clarke had declared too early, not too soon. So it's pretty much the opposite situation to here.
That has absolutely no relevance to the statement.

"The fact England ended up winning isn't the point, you judge the decision objectively not in hindsight" is true whether or not it was an early or late declaration.

Bresnan's wife is due to give birth during the series and there are meant to be some niggles with the fast bowlers who played in the tests so they could be rested at some stage.

Weather meant to be good for tomorrows game. Might even hit 21 or 22 degrees celsuis. Miracle

Incidentally, I notice Cricinfo listed Ross Taylor as skipper in their probable NZ lineup.

Dernbach playing, don't mind him playing games like this to rotate the main bowlers. If he is the 6th in line or whatever he is then he should play the odd one day game like this in a big summer as Anderson, Broad and Finn can't play every match this summer.
