Every time I fool myself into thinking Jamieson h4x has run its course. Surely won't happen now though..

Hope Santa makes up with the ball. I guess Im the only one that's backed him here ?‍♀

Despite quite pathetic collapse (though Wood gets credit too), we shouldn't panic here. See out until lunch and conditions should still be nice to bat after. Someone stay with Conway, please.

I started watched 50 minutes ago and by then Conway had gone from 136 to 162 in the first 45 min of the day.

The very first ball I watched Nichols got out and since then in the last 50 minutes, Conway has scored only 6 more runs and 2 other wickets have fallen for basically no runs.

CdG and Santner real risks of being nothing selections here if they don't have an impact with the ball
They'll probably have a role to play on this pitch, there's a hint of uneven bounce and could be a good foil for the quicks. But a score of a 400+ would be needed to really utilize the advantage of having them in the side.

Conway at 57% or so off team runs now. Will be fun if he starts pushing on a bit to 60%+ and starts challenging the Bannerman record. Pretty unlikely though because of the aggressive tail.
Ha, was my first thought when I saw the scorecard too.

Although (apparently) Bannerman scored 67.34% of his team's runs, so Dev would need to be on 198 currently to be ahead of the curve.

What a hack. Drop him.

EDIT: Score was 294 when I started that post...

CdG surely has more credit in the bank than Santa. Will probably contribute with the ball too.
Really?

Dude is coming off an injury, not really proven to be match fit, not clear how good he's bowling at the moment.

For me he was always more questionable than Santner.
