Whereas sticking with Jordan was never a good idea as he's bowled seven and Root's sent down three overs. Poor captaincy.

This really is why Ronchi is in the team I think. Flat pitch, dominant position, lets score so quick as to put the result beyond doubt.

Why is Jordan playing ahead of Wood?
It's a very fair question. Simple answer is they didn't want to change a team that had won by 210 last time, but obviously that doesn't explain why he was picked then. Even in these games you'd think it's a good idea to have two proper bowlers to open the attack. And it's not as if Jordan's batting is good enough to compensate for what he's sent down today.

Beyond that, my 420 prediction is beginning to look conservative.

As things stand, Stokes has the best economy rate of the quicks and has two wickets, but won't get to bowl his full quota.

So if jordan fails to get to a 100 with his final ball should they do the gentlemanly thing and give him another over to reach his century?

Those of us following cricinfo are aware that Jordan is now level with Steve Harmison for the most expensive spell by an English bowler in a ODI.
This after only 9 overs, of course.
