Post WTC 2021 our main contributions to world cricket have been handing out maiden victories to Bangladesh and rolling out the red carpet for BazBall.

Well done Bangladesh again anyway, putting us to the sword with some great bowling ... some real questions need to be getting asked of the Blackcaps set up now. Performances have been dropping consistently for some time now. Even in the Vettori captaincy years we weren't this bad.

Our bowlers did their best to make that a contest but our batsmen didn't make enough runs, losing 3 early wickets for stuff all made it an uphill battle.

Hahaha his brain didn't act nearly quick enough. He stood on the rope and still didn't release the ball for ages.

It was a genuine rivalry in the 80s and 90s IMO, but now it's just something the media like to hype up.

Enjoyed that game - low-scoring, competitive T20s are always fun.

Bangladesh outplayed us overall, so they deserved that win. Might have been interesting if Sodhi hadn't made a mess of that catch, though.
